France world No.12, Gilles Simon is all set to take on the unseeded player in tournament, Matthias Bachinger in the quarterfinals of the 2011 Thailand Open on Friday, September 30, 2011 at 13:30 GMT, in ATP-250 tournament, which is being held in Bangkok, Thailand.
This will be their first head to head encounter between both the players as the top seeded German player; Simon is huge favourite to enter into semifinals of the tournament.
