Top seeded players in women’s have dominated on Thursday second round encounter at the 2011 US Open.World No.1, Caroline Wozniacki has thrashed out Arantxa Rus straight sets with a score line of 6-2 6-0 to cruise into the third round of the US Open and world No.4, Victoria Azarenka has beaten Gisela Dulko with 6-4 6-3 to advance into the next round of 2011 US Open.

Three times US Open champion, Serena Williams has needed only 49 minutes to beat qualifier Michaella Krajicek, 6-0, 6-1.The top seeded players having advanced into the round-3 of the US Open are, Caroline Wozniacki, Victoria Azarenka, Francesca Schiavone, Andrea Petkovic, Ana Ivanovic, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, Roberta Vinci and Serena Williams.
