The World No. 34 ranked Thomaz Bellucci and Alex Bogomolov of United States will play in the quarter final match in the 2011 Farmers Classic tournament in Los Angeles.
The 23-year-old Bellucci has thrashed Alejandro Falla of Colombia with a 6- 0 and 6-1 in the second round on Thursday. Bellucci has been struggling with his form in the crucial matches, where he also reached the third round of the French Open lost to Richard Gasquet in four sets with a 6–2, 6–3, 3–6 and 6–3.
The World No. 63 ranked Alex Bogomolov has beaten Grigor Dimitrov with a 6-4 and 6-3 in the second round and thrashed Greg Jones of Australia with a 4-6, 6-1 and 6-1 in the opening round of the 2011 Farmers Classic tournament. Both the players are facing for the first time in career, where Thomaz Bellucci is having the most of the opportunities’ to win the match against Bogomolov in the Los Angeles quarter final.
In the other quarter final matches, American top seed Mardy Fish will face Igor Kunitsyn, Juanmartin Delpotro of Argentina will meet Ernests Gulbis and Ryan Harrison of United States will clash against Yen-hsun Lu to secure their places in the semi finals of the 2011 Farmers Classic tournament.
