2009 US Open champion, Juan Martin Del Potro has started off his preparation for the upcoming grand slam tournament (US Open), which will be held in Flushing Meadows.
World No.19 Argentina Player, Juan Martin Del Potro will be taking part in the ATP Los Angeles tournament, which has already started this week and is seeded No.2 in the tournament behind the top seeded American, Mardy Fish.
The Argentina was out of tennis for a period of 10 months in 2010, due to wrist surgery and was back this early in the season to reach world No.19 from 485. Martin aiming for his first title this season has reached the fourth round of 2011 Wimbledon and was defeated against the defending champion, Rafael Nadal.
The second seeded player I ATP Los Angeles, Juan del Potro has stated that, it has been a long time, since the Wrist injury and is fit to do the best in tennis with a prefect mind.
World No.19 has also reported that, he believes in his game and is confident to reaching back to his level.
Argentina player while speaking about his injury in 2010 has said to various sources that, he thought that, he could fix the injury problem quickly and started playing. However, it was worse start playing with hurting and thought to have surgery to his wrist.
Mean while, the second seeded player, Juan Martin Del Potro will be battling in his second round encounter against the American player, James Blake.
