Last week, 2011 Mercedes champion at Stuttgart, Juan Carlos Ferrero was thrashed out in the opening round of the German Tennis Championships 2011.
Juan Carlos Ferrero was defeated in the first round the 2011 Hamburg open of ATP World Tour 250 Event against the wild card player, Cedrik-Marcel Stebe of on Tuesday in straight sets with a score line of 6-3 6-2 in Humbug, Germany.
Former world No.1, Ferrero was out of tennis, due to wrist and knee injuries has just played 3-tournament this season and last week, he showed some impressive performance in Stuttgart by clinching the 2011 Mercedes champion.
Ferrero after clinching the Stuttgart title has participated in the German Tennis Championships on Tuesday and was defeated against the 20-years old wild card player in straight sets.
The 20-year old, Cedrik-Marcel Stebe was defeated in the third round of the 2011 Stuttgart open.
The other top seeded player was out in the first round of the German Tennis Championships 2011 was Juan Ignacio Chela. 7th seeded player in the tournament, Chela was thrashed out another German wild card, Tobias Kamke with a score line of 6-1, 6-4.
The Defending champion Andrey Golubev of Kazakhstan was also defeated in the opening round against Philipp Kohlschreiber with a score line of 7-5, 6-3.
