The World No. 4 ranked Maria Sharapova has planning to retire from the tennis, as she has been struggling with shoulder problems.
Maria Sharapova fans all over around the world would like to continue her in the tennis, but she makes the decision after losing Wimbledon final to Petra Kvitova of Czech Republic on Saturday. Sharapova, who conflict hard with shoulder and wrist problems, she admitted that she wants to stop her tennis career.
The 24-year-old Sharapova was beaten by the No. 8 seed Petra Kvitova in the final with a 6-3 and 6-4 on Saturday. The Russian star said that, tennis is a big part of her life and she is not going to play tennis for entire life. She added tennis can play for a certain point of life, as fitness is very crucial to focus on the game.
Sharapova has won the three Grand Slam championships in Wimbledon in 2004, US Open in 2006 and Australian Open in 2008. She has reached the major tournament final at Wimbledon, after long lay-off, but failed to lift the trophy. The 2004 Wimbledon champion Sharapova said that, she is looking very positive to play in the US Open in the summer and seeking to win the title.
