The World No. 1 ranked Rafael Nadal will take on British tennis star Andy Murray in the semi final at Wimbledon tournament which is for second time following 2010 semifinal played here at the All England Club in London. The duo will take on each other on Saturday 1st July at 15:00 GMT.
Nadal has been playing amazingly in this season, where he has won the French Open title at Roland Garros and reached final at Wimbledon. Nadal, who won his sixth French Open championship, focusing to win third major title at Wimbledon, but it would be a tough match for the Spaniard. Nadal has won the championship in 2008 and 2010, where he was pulled out of the 2009 championship, due to knee injury. Nadal has defeated the American Mardy Fish with a 6-3, 6-3, 5-7 and 6-4 in the quarter final of the tournament.
The 24-year-old Andy Murray has been impressive with his performance, where he reached third semi final appearance at Wimbledon. Murray has defeated Feliciano Lopez in the quarter final with a 6-3, 6-4 and 6-4, where he had made nine match undefeatable match streak on grass court this year. Murray also won the Queen’s Club tournament, before the Wimbledon.
Both the player is meeting for the 16th occasion, where Nadal leads with an 11-4 head-to-head win loss record. Nadal has thrashed Murray in quarter final in 2008 and semi final in 2010 at Wimbledon, where Spaniard is looking heavy favorite to win the semis and cruise into final of the Royal Grand Slam.
