The World No. 4 ranked Andy Murray said that, he is ready to challenge World No. 1 Rafael Nadal at All England Club at Wimbledon on Friday in London.
Murray believes he can beat Nadal in the semi final at Royal Grand Slam at Wimbledon, where his third appearance at semi final consecutively. In 2009 Wimbledon, Murray has lost to American Andy Roddick and in 2010 semis lost to Rafael Nadal with a 6–4, 7–6 (6) and 6–4. Murray has been aiming to win his first Grand Slam championship, where he reached three major tournament finals so far.
The 24-year-old Murray said he is looking forward to win the tomorrow’s match, as he was getting ready with his game plan. Nadal and Murray have clashed in semi final in the French Open at Roland Garros, where Nadal won the match. Murray said that, he had an opportunity to win the match in the French Open, but he had made some mistakes. If Murray reaches Wimbledon final on Friday, it will be a long wait for a Britain tennis history. The possibility to make a Wimbledon final is an opportunity to create history says Murray.
Murray said that, his dream to win Wimbledon championship in front of his home crowd. The former Wimbledon champion John McEnroe said, Murray should play the best match in his career to reach final at Wimbledon.
