The British, Andy Murray aiming for his first grand slam title will be having a tough task the semifinals of the Wimbledon 2011 against Rafael Nadal.
The world No.4 has been defeated against Novak Djokovic in finals of the Australian Open and again in the French Open 2011 grand slam, he was beaten by the world No.1, king of clay, Rafael Nadal.
The British world No.4 has been defeated on most of the occasions against the top seeded contender. Against the likes of Nadal and Djokovic, Murray will get punished if he has to rely too much on his weak and predictable second serve. A more positive approach from Murray on serve could pay dividends.
At times it seems as if the Dunblane Dynamo tightens up with ball in hand, which consequently causes mistakes.
Every other aspect of Murray’s game at present looks to be the best it has ever been. But in order to overcome Rafa and his potential final opponent, Murray must work hard over the next few days on his serving repertoire, including precision and accuracy.
He cannot reinvent his second serve over the course of 48 hours, but he can devise a strategy to ensure that more of his first serves make it over the net to enhance his rhythm and make service games much quicker and more fluent.
