Victoria Azarenka has defeated Tamira Paszek of Austrian in the quarter final with a 6-3 and 6-1 at All England Club in London.
The World No. 3 ranked Victoria Azarenka has reached to the semi final at Wimbledon 2011, where she is going to face Petra Kvitova in the semis. The Belarusian star has made a fine start to the rain stopped match, as Azarenka has won the first set with a 6-3 and second set 6-1. The 21-year-old Azarenka has taken one hour and 21 minutes to finish the quarter match.
Azarenka is one the hot favorite to lift the championship at Wimbledon, as she has been consistently playing well in this season. She also reached final at Australian Open in 2011. Petra Kvitova has defeated Bulgarian Tsvetana Pironkova with a 6-3, 6-7(5) and 6-2 in the Wimbledon quarters, where Bulgarian has wrap up the match in two hours of play.
The other quarter matches are Russian star Maria Sharapova will face German Sabine Lisicki, where the Sharapova has thrashed Dominika Cibulkova with a 6-1, 6-1 and Lisicki has beaten 2007 finalist Marion Bartoli 6-4, 6-7(4) and 6-1. Likely, Maria Sharapova and Victoria Azarenka can make through to Wimbledon final at All England Club.
