The world No. 4 Andy Murray will move forward to take part in Wimbledon 2011 with heavy confident, after clinching the AEGON Championships at Queen’s Club in London on Monday.
The British star has defeated Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga to win the AEGON Championships at Queen’s Club with a 3-6 7-6 (7-2) and 6-4 in London. Murrays has lifted the title for the second time and 17th on the ATP World Tour victory. He is very confident, after winning the Queen’s Club, where Murray has reached the semi finals of the French Open 2011 and Australian Open final appearance in this season.
The 24-year-old Murray said that, he is very confident and very excited to play in the Wimbledon, which it will begin on 20th June. He added he is going to Wimbledon with the feeling that he will win the tournament for the first time in his career. Murray has improved a lot and playing better tennis in this season, as he needs to play his best tennis throughout the Wimbledon, if he wants to win the event.
Murray had become the first Britain player to lift the AEGON Championships at Queen’s Club to win the second time, since Francis Gordon Lowe in 1914. He is looking forward to get ready for Wimbledon in next five or six days and it’s one of the most important tournaments of the year for him says Murray.
