The women tennis rankings have been released after the French Open 2011, as Na Li of China has climbed two spots in the WTA Rankings on Monday.
Na Li has climbed up to fourth position, after clinching her first Grand Slam title in his career at Roland Garros on Saturday. Na Li has defeated defending champion Francesca Schiavone of Italy with a 6-4 and 7-6 (7-0) to win the French Open. Jelena Jankovic is the only player, who was out of the top ten in the WTA Rankings, after losing in the fourth round of the French Open in this season.
The Russian star Maria Sharapova has climbed one spot from No. 7 to 6th position, where she made his appearance in the semi final French Open 2011. Serena William of United States has fallen to 25th position in the WTA Rankings at all by her Wimbledon title from a year ago, while Venus Williams stands at No. 32nd spot. Great Britain’s Heather Watson made a big jump to top 100 from 117th to 93rd position. Watson came through the French Open’s qualifying draw and pulled off a victory in the main draw.
