Roger Federer has been named as all-time best men’s singles player in the modern tennis era, but Rafael Nadal is closing fast and moving ahead rapidly to get the records set by Roger Federer after beating him in order to achieve his sixth French open title.
After winning against Federer 7-5, 7-6 (3), 5-7, 6-1, Nadal has equaled the record set by Bjorn Borg, after this feat there maybe questions rising whether Federer truly deserves to be called the Greatest of All Time.
Nadal has won his 10th Grandslam which is just 6 away from Federer who holds 16 Grand Slam trophies, Nadal who turned 25 on Friday has got a long way still ahead in his tennis career, Federer and Nadal had met French open in 2005 semifinals, and the 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2011 finals and every time they had played on
the clay court it was Nadal who had more off control.
Nadal stands at 45-1 for his career in Paris, and Nadal leads their head-to-head series 17-8. In This total Nadal has an of 6-2 advantage in Grand Slam finals and a 5-0 edge at the French Open.
As the French open is over, Nadal may be planning to visit popular casinos to play his favorite roulette and video poker where he enjoy his leisure time usually.
