The defending champion Francesca Schiavone will play against Na Li in the finals of the Roland Garros tournament in Paris.
The world No.6 seed Na Li is the first Chinese player to advance into the French Open finals, where she will play against Francesca on Saturday. Na Li has defeated Russian star Maria Sharapova in the straight sets in the semi finals of the event on Thursday with a 6-4 and 7-5.
Francesca Schiavone is the first players at the age of 30 to win the Grand Slam title, since Martina Navratilova’s 1990 Wimbledon title. She hopes her experience from the final last year will help and it’s a dream come true to reach another Grand Slam final in her career says Schiavone. She has beaten Marion Bartoli in two sets with a 6-3 and 6-3 on Thursday.
Na Li has entered into the second Grand Slam final in this season, where she lost her first Grand Slam final to Kim Clijsters in Australian Open 2011 in January. Na Li is looking for her first Grand Slam titles, where Schiavone is exciting to win the French Open for second occasion at Roland Garros. It will be one of the toughest matches for both the players.
