The world No. 4 ranked Andy Murray will play against Juan Ignacio Chela of Argentina in the quarter final of the French Open tournament on Wednesday. The match will kick off at 2:00 pm local time at Court Suzanne Lenglen in Paris.
Andy Murray has defeated Viktor Troicki in five sets with a 4-6, 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 and 7-5 in the fourth round of the event. The Britain star has faced only one seeded player so far in the French Open tournament, where he made a bad start in the fourth round, but come back strongly in the last three sets.
Juan Ignacio Chela is an experienced player and having an ordinary record 17-12 in this season. Chela has not won a single title in this season so far, where this is best performance in a Grand Slam after four long years. It will be tough match for Chela to face Murray in the quarter final on Wednesday. Chela had defeated Alejandro Falla in five sets with a 6-4, 2-6, 6-1, 6-7 and 2-6 in the fourth round at Roland Garros
Both the players are facing for the eighth time, where Murray leads head-to-head record 7-1. The 24-year-old Murray has won last three matches against Chela on clay court.
Murray is looking hot favorite to win the match against Chela and enter into the French Open 2011 semi finals at Court Suzanne Lenglen.
