French Open 2011: Sharapova, Nadal, Soderling advances to Quarter’s

The final and fourth round of the 2011 French Open has been completed and most of the top seeded players in men’s advanced to the quarterfinals of the Roland Garros tournament with the likes of Rafael Nadal, Robin Soderling, Gael Monfils and the only unseeded player in men’s tournament advanced into the quarter’s was Juan Ignacio Chela.

On Monday, 31st May, 2011 in the fourth round event, both the finalist in the French Open 2010 have advance into the quarter’s with Rafael Nadal and Robin Soderling beating their competitors in straight sets at Roland Garros in Paris and in the Women’s Maria Sharapova has cruised into the finals eight of the tournament.

Rafael Nadal, the top seeded player in men’s competition and the defending champion has thrashed out Ivan Ljubicic in straight sets with a score line of 7-5 6-3 and 6-3. He finished the match in 2 hour and 26 minutes, as entered into the final eight of the tournament.

In the women’s slot, Maria Sharapova in a thrilling battle for 2 hours against Agnieszka Radwanska has entered into the quarter’s of the tournament with the score line of 7-6(4), 7-5.

Sharapova after trailing 4-1 in the first set has came strongly into the game, as the top seeded Russian has sizzled back to win the match against the Poland player, Agnieszka Radwanska.
