The world No. 6 ranked Maria Sharapova and Agnieszka Radwanska will clash in the fourth round of the French Open event on Monday at Roland Garros.
The three time Grand Slam winner Maria Sharapova has been smashing the top form at the moment in the ongoing 2011 French Open event. She will be playing against world No. 13 Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland in the fourth round encounter at Court Philippe Chatrier. The Russian star advanced into French Open quarter finals in 2009, after that she had missed out several crucial tournaments, due to shoulder injury. Sharapova has emerged as one of the strong contenders to clinch the French Open 2011 title.
Agnieszka Radwanska has earned some good results in this season, where she had reached the quarter finals of the Australian Open and followed by a quarter final performances at Dubai Open and Miami Open. She has thrashed Yanina Wickmayer in the third round in straight sets with a 6-4 and 6-4. Both the players are facing for the eighth time in a career, where Sharapova lead head-to-head record with a 6-1 against Radwanska. Last time they met in Cincinnati in 2010, where Sharapova clinch the victory over Radwanska in straight sets with a 6-2 and 6-3.
Sharapova looks in a better position to grab the victory over his opponent in the fourth round at Court Philippe Chatrier in Paris.
