The world No. 13 ranked Agnieszka Radwanska has moved into the third round of the French Open 2011 at Roland Garros.
Agnieszka Radwanska has defeated Sania Mirza of India in the second round with a 6-2 and 6-4, to enter into the third round of the French Open event at Court 2 in Paris. Agnieszka Radwanska started off with amazing shots on the clay court, where she had played well in this season. She had reached the quarterfinals of the Australian Open, quarterfinals at Dubai Open, Miami Open and also entered into the semi-finals of Stuttgart Open in this season.
Radwanska has taken 37 minutes to clinch the first set and earned 69 percent points on her first serve and converted 4 out of 6 break points. Mirza has committed 5 double faults and also made 20 unforced errors in the match, where she could manage just 2 out of 6 net points.
The 24-year-old Sania Mirza had played poor tennis during the match and failed to keep the momentum at any stage of the match in the second round. Radwanska has taken 1 hour and 16 minutes to clinch the victory, where she earned 63 percent points on her first serve and Mirza made 42 unforced errors. The Indian served poorly as she committed 9 double-faults and broken seven times in straight sets.
