The ATP Challenger Tour finals will be held at the Ginasio Do Ibirapuera in San Paulo in November 2011.
The ATP tournament will bring together the best players of the ATP Challenger Tour of the season from 14th – 20th November. The ATP CEO Mark Young said that, ATP is happy to launch this tournament and ATP Challenger Tour Finals is very important to develop the tennis around the world. The Sao Paulo will be hosting the first edition of the ATP Challenger Tour Finals.
Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, Andy Murray and Thomaz Bellucci have also played the ATP Challenger Tour tournaments. The founder of the ATP Challenger Tour Finals and President Luis Felipe Tavares said that, they want to strengthen the ATP Challenger Tour worldwide. The event will feature the seven best players of the season and one wild card allowed by the host country. The tournament will present $US220, 000 and South African Airways ATP Rankings points.
ATP Chief Player Officier Andre Silva said that, it is very crucial part of the tennis calendar, since the ATP Challenger Tour tournaments. Thomaz Bellucci won four ATP Challenger titles in 2008, ATP events which gave him experience and increase ranking says Bellucci.
