The world number 18th ranked Sam Querrey of United States has been started his proceedings to play in the Atlanta Tennis Championship.
Sam Querrey had captured four titles on three different surfaces in Los Angeles, Memphis, London and Belgrade in 2010. The hard serving American player has earned more than $3.1 million in prize money. Atlanta Tennis Championship director Bob Bryant announced that, tournament will begins from July 18th to 24th. Bryant added Querrey is one of the America’s best tennis players and he will play his best tennis at Atlanta.
The other two American players are committed to take part in the Atlanta Tennis tournament are world number 11th seed Mardy Fish and 33rd ranked John Isner, an ATP World Tour 250. Sam Querrey said that, he is looking forward to play in the Atlanta Tennis for the first time and added many of the players have enjoyed playing the tournament.
In 2010 season, Sam Querrey defeated Bradley Klahn, Marcel Granollers and Nicolas Almagro to advance into the fourth round. The 23-year-old American has a strong forehand and good back hand. Querrey has been improving his performance day-by-day. His best performance comes at Australian Open in 2007 and 2009, where he reached third round and US Open in 2008 and 2010, where he entered into fourth round.
