Novak Djokovic has aimed a revenge victory over Kevin Anderson for the quarter-final match at the Sony Ericsson Open 2011. The revenge is due to which, Anderson has shocked Novak Djokovic for three set win in their previous meeting at the Miami tournament, three years ago.

Novak Djokovic defeated the Viktor Troicki for 6-3, 6-2 and took his berth for the quarter-finals. During 2011 season, Djokovic has improved a lot to 21-0, followed by the straight win against the 16th seed Viktor Troicki. He held nine consecutive service games through 84 minutes. Next he needs to take the game from Kevin Anderson in order to enter into semi-final.

The 40th seed Kevin Anderson defeated the 30th seed John Isner for 6-3, 7-6 and has booked his spot in the quarter-final match to meet Djokovic. He recorded his first victory over Isner since 2008 in Las Vegas. The South African has passed through the 102 minutes contest unbroken including 88% of his first service points.

Djokovic said that it is not a nice memory as he is the team-mate of the Davis Cup and also his close friend. Nevertheless, he will have an opportunity to get his revenge on the same court where he lost in 2008. He spoke about Anderson that he keeps playing really well on that courts and they need to give him credit for that. He concluded that Anderson has beaten some very good players and has a big serve and obviously very aggressive.
