Novak Djokovic Clashes with Ernest Gulbis at Indian Wells

Novak Djokovic, the top seeded player in the tournament will play his third round match of the Indian wells on Monday against Ernest Gulbis in the $4.5 million, BNP Paribas Open, which is being held at Indian Wells.

Novak Djokovic the world no.3 player, who is having a marvelous season this year, having won the  Australian Open and Dubai Open this season, was undefeated in all the 15-matches which he played in the 2011.

Djokovic has won his second round match against Andrey Golubev, the Kazakhstani player with a 6-0, 6-4 on Sunday at the Indian Wells. He will play his third round encounter against the Ernest Gulbis.

Both Djokovic and Gulbis are friends for a long time and they were practicing tennis together, so check it whether Djokovic can surprise Gulbis in his third round encounter.

The head to head between two players have played four official matches in the ATP, where, Djokovic is leading with 3-1 lead over Gulbis. Djokovic has won the French open, Cincinnati and Basel open, where as Gulbis has won only Brisbane Open. He isn’t as explosive as Djokovic, but he also has made a progress last year and he is one year younger than Serbian. He has good serve, and it’s always a great weapon to have in tennis world.
