Roger Federer, the world no.2 player is ready to bounce back and show his class performance for the up-coming hard-court tournaments Indian Wells and Miami. The Swiss maestro is determined to rebound to top form during the upcoming USA hard-court campaign.
Federer, the top seeded players, who won his first title at Doha earlier in January, was defeated twice against, the inform player, Novak Djokovic, the world no.3. The first time he was defeated this season was against Djokovic, in the semi-finals of the Australian Open and last week, he lost the Dubai open against the Serbian.
The 29-years old federer has won three titles continuously in the years 2004, 2005 and 2006 at Indian wells and since then he hasn’t won a single title at Indian wells and in Miami, he has won continuously two titles in the years 2005 and 2006 .
Even though, Federer has lost his fourth tile in Dubai Open last week in straight sets against the world no.3 player, Djokovic, Federer was happy enough with his overall showing there and feels in good shape going into the next stage of the campaign.
Federer has said that, it just didn’t really happened in the end, but it’s better than the last few years in Dubai and has not played much match at Indian Wells and Miami. So this is big going into Indian Wells and Miami with a bit more tennis and confidence really.
He didn’t get much rest, after having played five days in a row and prepared to the west coast and get ready over there. He feels like, he needs more practice as there would be different conditions again. It’s going to be flying but it’s going to be slower.
