Roger Federer, world no.2 will be clashing-up against Richard Gasquet in the semifinals of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships. The live kick off between Roger Federer vs Richard Gasquet will be started at 14:00 CET (13:00 GMT) on Friday, 25th February, 2011.

The top seeded player, Roger Federer will be facing the French player, as he clashes-up with Richard Gasquet in the semifinals of the Dubai Open 2011, which could be a complicated match but that could really be a straight sets victory for the world number 2 player.

Federer will be facing Richard Gasquet, the French player, who has defeated Gilles Simon in a three-set thriller by 5-7, 6-2, 6-4 in the quarterfinal of the Dubai Open. Federer, who has done quite well against Gasquet historically, he has a record of 7-1 against the French player, which includes a victory from the ATP Paris Masters late in 2010, a match that was played on the hard court surface.

The French man and the world no. 28, Richard Gasquet has won over federer in a clay court event in 2005.

Federer, the world no.2, has won the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships thrice in the years 2003, 2005 and 2006 and is looking out for a 4th title at the Dubai open 2011.
