WTA Tour 2010: The world No. 1 player, Serena offered her position to Caroline Wozniaciki who grabbed the WTA rank NO.1 position at the end season.

Caroline, who had won 6-tournements through out the season then any other player in WTA in the year 2010, was ranked NO.1 by the WTA. However she has not won even a single Grand Slam title in her career.

It was Serena domination thought out the year, where she has captured the 2- major grand slams tournaments this year by winning the Australians open, Wimbledon. With an inspired performance of Samantha Stosur who clinched the French open beating Serena at the Finals of Roland Garros. She even won the doubles title along with her partner and sister Venus Williams by winning at Australian open and French open.

As a result of Foot injury, she could not make it the Australian open in the early start of the season in the 2011. However, she has proved with her performance by grabbing two grand slams tiles this year and proved the world that she is one of the top class players in the history of women’s international tennis.
