The world No.1, Caroline Wozniacki was defeated by Samantha Stosur in a straight sets at WTA Championships in Doha. Caroliane Wozniacki has lost the match with 6-4 6-3.

Samantha Stosur says, “If you can beat a player like Caroline in straight sets here at such a big event, then it’s fantastic. I’ve got obviously one more round match tomorrow, and hopefully I can find myself in the semis.”

Wozniacki won her opening match on Tuesday. Wozniacki needs only another victory to secure the top ranking for the season. Samantha Stosur is a professional tennis player from Australia.
