Britain star tennis player, Andy Murray reached the semi-finals of Shanghai Masters. Andy Murray defeated Frenchman, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the straight sets of Shanghai Masters quarter-finals.
Andy Murray dominated Jo-Wilfried Tsonga through out the game and won with 6-2 and 6-2. Murray will meet either Jurgen Melzer or Juan Monaco in the semi-final. In the earlier rounds, Murray defeated Yan Bai and Jeremy Chardy.
Andy Murray said, “It was a good performance, I hit the ball really well and the surface here is good for me.”
This is the best performance of Andy Murray after the early exit of US Open 2010. Murray has reached the finals of 2010 Australian Open and lost against former World No.1 player, Roger Federer. Currently, Andy Murray is the World No.4 in the ATP rankings.
