World No.1, Rafael Nadal makes an easy entry into Thailand Open second round and he will face Ruben Bemelmans in round 16 matches. Remember, this is the first Thailand Open for Rafael Nadal in his career and also the first tournament for him after US Open win.
Nadal didn’t participate in 2008 and 2009 US Open because of his injuries. But, this time he decided to play in Thailand Open after US Open for some practice. He won his first US Open in this year and completed all the grand slams.
Rafael Nadal will be the favorite of this match. Belgian qualifier and world ranked 195; Ruben Bemelmans won the first round match with fellow qualifier, Frederick Nielsen. He won the match with 6-2 and 6-3.
