Roger Federer Still Top on Rafael Nadal

With the recent win in 2010 US Open, Rafael Nadal might be the favorite to beat Roger Federer record of 16 grand slams. Tennis legend, Pete Sampras also predicted Rafael Nadal will beat Federer record. But, according to current tennis players, Roger Federer is still on top than Rafael Nadal.

David Ferrer, Robin Soderling and Tomas Berdych have said that, Roger Federer is best than any other current tennis player. David Ferrer said that, “Rafa is probably the best player in the history of Spain. But in the world, at this moment—maybe it’s Federer because he has more Grand Slams and more titles”.

Robin Soderling has also said the same thing. “He has won so many Grand Slams already, so many titles, but to me, Roger is still the best,” he admitted about Roger Federer. Currently, Robin Soderling ranked no.5.

Seventh ranked, Tomas Berdych admitted that, “To be the player who won the most Grand Slams, he is still missing a couple of them. Still, I think it is a long way to go for him.”

Rafael Nadal won nine grand slams in his career so far. This year Nadal won French Open, Wimbledon and the U.S. Open. But, Roger Federer managed to win only one grand slam (Australian Open.)
