2010 US Open Champ; Rafael Nadal has announced that, he will participate in this year Thailand Open. This will be the first Thailand Open for Rafael Nadal and the first open for him after winning US Open 2010. Thailand Open will begin in next week.
Nadal didn’t participate in 2008 and 2009 US Open because of his injuries, but finally he is ready for this year Thailand Open. With the recent US Open win, Rafael Nadal became the seventh player in the tennis history, who completed all the grand slam wins. Totally, Nadal won nine grand slams in his career.
Argentina player and 2009 US Open winner, Juan Martin Del Potro is also returning to tennis career with Thailand Open. He missed out the tennis encounter for eight months after he got injured to his wrist in January. Now, he is looking fine after wrist surgery.
“I’m happy to be back in Thailand as I came to play here three years ago. Bangkok is a nice city and Thai people are nice. I will try my best every match here”, Del Potro said.
