One more fan member is added to the fans club of Rafael Nadal. It’s one of the tennis legend, Pete Sampras. Recently, Rafael Nadal won US Open 2010 championship. With this win over Novak Djokovic (who defeated Roger Federer in semifinals), Rafael Nadal became the favorite for, who will beat Roger Federer record of 16 grand slams.
With the recent win in US Open, Rafael Nadal adds ninth grand slam and he also became the seventh player in the world, who won all the tennis grand slams. Now, Pete Sampras said that, Nadal has the ability to beat Roger Federer record and he also advised Nadal.
Pete Sampras says Rafael Nadal can break Roger Federer’s record of 16 Grand Slam titles if he stays healthy and maintains a smart playing schedule.
On Thursday, Peter Sampras said that, “If he’s smart with his schedule and the fact that he has so many at such a young age, he could very well do it”.
Pete Sampras won 14 grand slams in his career and in 2009; Roger Federer surpasses Pete Sampras record of 14 grand slams.
