Roger Federer Confirmed His Spot In Semifinals

Roger Federer has entered into all the six finals of US Open in which he won five of them conjunctively from 2004 to 2008. Now, he is on his way to enter into the seventh final of US Open in his career. In the quarterfinal of the match he defeated Robin Soderling in first three sets.

2nd seed player, Federer took the first two sets from 5th seed Robin Soderling without giving any chance to Soderling. He won the first two sets with 6-4, 6-4. In final set of the match Robin Soderling gave a tough fight to Federer. But, towards the end, the match went on Roger Federer side.

He won the match with 6-4, 6-4 and 7-5. With this win over Robin Soderling Federer improved his record on Soderling to 13-1. Federer lost only one match to Soderling in his career in the quarterfinals of French Open this year.
