Roger Federer Won Cincinnati Open Title: Roger Federer has beaten American Mardy Fish 6-7, 7-6, 6-4 to win the Western and Southern Financial Group Cincinnati Masters title.
Federer had a match up with Bjorn Borg. Among the five Open Era titles, he won the fourth title Cincinnati after 2005, 2007 and 2009.
During the opening set, Federer had four break point chances. In the fifth game of the second set, Federer saved a break point and both players kept holding serve, later they hit another tie-break.
Former world No. 1 dominated the tiebreaker in the second place, losing only the third point as a fish and ending with his ninth ace of the match.
Federer was the finalist to serve in the break as a lead of 5-4 and had no problems to serve out the win. Federer said that he was uncomfortable for the first time and later, he has grown up well.
Roger Federer is a Switzerland professional tennis player. He is currently ranked World No.2 in the ATP rankings.
