Somdev Devvarman Achieved Top 100 in ATP Rankings

After 11 years, India has appeared in the top 100 in the ATP rankings. Earlier, Leander Paes has achieved the top 100 before moving to doubles.

ATP released the latest rankings list and Somdev Devvarman was positioned at no.96 with 540 points. This is the Somdev Devvarman’s career high rank so far.

Somdev Devvarman performed well these days and it is not easy to reach the top 100 in ATP. Somdev Devvarman has reached the finals of Chennai Open ATP tournament during 2009 season. In Somdev Devvarmanthat tournament, he defeated top players such as Carlos Moya and Ivo Karlovic.

Somdev Devvarman also advanced the ATP South African open quarter-finals in the same year. He received a wild card for French Open 2010 but lost against Switzerland player, Marco Chiudinelli in the first round.
