In the Australian Open 2010, he won against Jeremy Chardy in the first round with 6-2,6-2,6-0 and defeated Michael Berrer in the second round with 7-5, 6-3, 6-4. But, in the third round he was defeated by World No.3 Novak Djokovic with 1-6, 1-6, 2-6.
