Ivan Ljubicic defeat American No.1 star player Andy Roddick in the final of the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells and became the oldest first-time winner of a Masters Series.
Ivan Ljubicic entered into the BNP Paribas Open as a seeded No.20 defeated seventh seeded American star Andy Roddick with 7-6 (7-3) 7-6 (7-5).
American No.1 Star player Andy Roddick again disappointed all American fans with his poor performance. Everytime this star player will play good in all the rounds, after reaching the final he will raise the hands. This is the second time lossing in the finals in the year 2010.
Ivan Ljubicic, a 31-year-old player hit 20 aces and 42 winners to seal a 10th ATP title in just over two hours. This veteran player also defeat World No.2 and No.3 players such as Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal on his way to reach the final.
Ivan Ljubicic had lost his three previous Masters Series finals but hold strongly this time.
